How leaders lead has a lot to do with the
work culture they create. The Change Forum's coaching
clinics equip leaders with the conversational, relational and emotional
skills they need to create vibrant, connective work cultures and bring
out the best in themselves and their teams.
Emotional Intelligence and Difficult
Discussions are two of the most consistent themes that feature in
leaders' enquiries for coaching support...

A 2-day

Your success as a leader has a lot
more than you may think to do with your own level of Personal Mastery

they are of their emotional patterns,
profoundly affects work culture, team climate and ultimately, job
performance and business success. This practical 2-day clinic aims to help
you:

intelligence play in producing high-performance leadership results

EI at Work:

Intelligence

An
interactive 1-day seminar for non-supervisory STAFF
We
believe it’s just as important for staff as it is for leaders, to
understand and manage emotions and become more emotionally aware.
EI is the basis for building great teamwork and positive,
productive workplaces; raising levels of achievement, focus,
optimism, joy, purpose and perseverance – and decreasing
dysfunctional behaviour and performance drawbacks that set off
negative emotional chain-reactions and turn work climates toxic.
This
1-day down-to-earth, lively seminar shows staff what EI is, why it matters and
how to start applying basic EI tools and behaviours at work. Here’s
a fantastic way to give a boost to your staff’s motivation and
commitment levels not to mention improving the way they relate to you
and the rest of the team!
If you want to bring out the best in your staff you’ll want to
send them along to this stimulating seminar… After attending, your staff
should:
 |
Understand what EI is and the impact it
has on them, their relationships and their work ability |
 |
See how feelings influence job
satisfaction and their ability to get along well with others |
 |
Have some ideas on how to manage moods
better, how to control negative emotions, how to connect and interact better with others
|
 |
Deal better with those difficult people –
cantankerous colleagues, cranky customers, even overbearing bosses |
 |
Cope better with stress, pressure and the
demands of change |
What do staff say about this
stimulating, informative and interactive seminar?
“EI at Work
was awesome….A great learning experience that everyone should partake
in.” Kyle Leary,
Qld Health
“A worthwhile
course applicable to any profession. Course content excellent and very
applicable to my work.”
Mary Cataldo, Disability Services Qld
“I can’t
recall the last time I was in a workshop where I actually felt
comfortable. Great job Coach!”
Leita Hart, DETA
“Impressed
by the way you unpack EI - I see how it can transform workplaces,
relationships & the way we live & learn.”
Jan Fenlon, Gracemere SS

A 2-day
conversation skills clinic for everyone
Challenging, confronting or contentious
conversations cause so much conflict and stress in workplaces. They're
something we could all learn to handle better. Poorly handled or
avoided, they detract from performance and erode work relationships.
Trust evaporates, misunderstandings multiply and productivity plummets.
This 2-day conversational coaching
clinic equips you with a robust set of tools to navigate your way
through those troublesome moments. Practise a more methodical,
controlled and step-by-step approach to take the heat out of
those close conversational encounters and get more constructive outcomes
from them. This clinic will benefit anyone who wants to handle difficult discussions more
confidently and constructively – managers, team leaders, committee
members, facilitators, trainers, customer liaison officers. It
equips you with easy-to-use tools and durable tips and techniques to:
 |
Defuse difficult discussions and
convert confrontations into constructive conversations.
|
 |
Understand what makes some discussions so
difficult
|
 |
Diagnose your own tendencies when the
conversational heat gets turned up
|
 |
Avoid common mistakes that crop up in
difficult discussions
|
 |
See the deep patterns at play in difficult
discussions
|
What do
people say about this
highly regarded and interactive seminar?
“Fabulous learning experience!
Anyone who has to deal with difficult discussions should
do this course.”
Georgina McGrath – Q Health
“A
winning combination! Course materials well-written, comprehensive and
easy to navigate, a facilitator knows the course content inside out, and
a conversational style adopted throughout the 2 days that put attendees
at ease, so they willingly shared personal experiences”
Tony Rolls – State Development
“Everyone can benefit from this clinic... A very positive learning
experience... a comfortable, safe environment, very well structured and
with a nice informal approach. It’s very easy to be involved in this
clinic regardless of degree of experience. And the guide will be of
enormous benefit for future referral”
Kim Cree – Rockhampton
Regional Council
If you want
to create constructive emotional climates and connect with the people
you lead in ways that energise and inspire – you’ll want to come along
to one of these great leadership learning opportunities yourself – or send your
key managers or emerging leaders…
Got interested
colleagues and friends?
Greatly appreciated if you can please forward
this course notice on to staff, colleagues and friends who may want
help with how to handle difficult discussions more constructively or build
more connective team cultures.
And if you would also pass it around your
wider management, HR or government networks, we’d
also be most grateful.
Thank you for your time. And if you don't want
any more notices of upcoming events or newsletters – that’s OK, just let
