What's On in 2010...
Throughout 2010 The Change Forum continues to present a core suite of leadership
learning programs in regional centres
and some 'special event' programs from time-to-time on particular work
organisation, leadership and professional development issues we hear about through our workshops and other client engagements.

Improving work culture is a hot topic for increasing
numbers of organisations so we've developed a new program to support
leaders in addressing this complex and difficult change arena.
Leading Culture Change
is delivered publicly as a 1-day program currently and in-house in both 1-day and
2-day formats. Also included on our public schedule this year is a
2-day coaching clinic on developing facilitation skills. An adaptation of
an in-house program we've run with change teams for many years,
Fundamental Facilitation
can help those who'd like to adopt a more facilitative style of leadership
or develop or
improve on their ability to facilitate groups and teams. For schools
this year Teaching
with EI offers classroom-specific applications for
integrating social and emotional intelligence in day-to-day school life.
The
Change Forum designs and delivers
tailored change and learning programs for organisation-specific
contexts in addition to offering scheduled events. Change Forum public
programs can be presented in-house in standard format or customised to
particular needs and learning priorities. Some of the more recent

Leading Culture Change: “We need to change the culture”
is a much-repeated mantra heard in many management meetings, yet
culture is notoriously difficult to change. While there are no magic
bullets or quick-fixes, if you can understand a culture, and learn
some lessons about what seems to work and what doesn’t, then you have
a chance of changing it for the better.

practise-intensive clinic packed with up-to-date facilitation models,
tools and techniques you can apply in a wide range of group-working

This 1-day interactive
seminar extends our Dealing with Difficult Discussions clinic
to offer some stress-survival skills for coping in hazardous work
cultures.

Working Better
Together:
Building better teams is the major mission of most leaders. This 2-day
forum explores ways leaders can use the 5 foundations of effective
teams to address team issues, concerns and difficulties with loads of
practical team-building tips and tools leaders can use to help guide
their teams.

Preparing People for Change: The first step in any
well-run change program is preparing people for it. This 1-day
clinic shows leaders how to help people come to terms with change,
engage with it more constructively and increase levels of
'change-ability'.

Challenging Change Resistance:
A 1-day extension to our core Learning to
Lead Change program, concentrating on the anatomy of resistance,
the thinking and emotional patterns that bolster resistance and
helping you practise strategies to engage and challenge resistance
